Harman research centre (HRC) is instituted in the year of 2002. This research institute is gained 16 years of research experience in the field of Biological sciences and also doing the project works in the final year Bioscience students. HRC, a research cum learning institute at Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India focuses on modern and next generation research studies without compromising traditional pedagogy methods. HRC is a leader in biosciences research. Research is an academic activity and as such the term should be used in a technical sense. Research in common parlance refers to a search for knowledge. Once can also define research as a scientific and systematic search for pertinent information on a specific topic. In fact, research is an art of scientific investigation. The purpose of research is to discover answers to questions through the application of scientific procedures. The main aim of research is to find out the truth which is hidden and which has not been discovered as yet.
      On the global map we are yet to make a breakthrough in biosciences, though the subject has progressed in leaps and bounds. So this endeavor is an attempt to nourish the young minds of students and research scholars with hidden talents and kindle the spirit of research. The centre will provide them with an opportunity to do the project work effectively in the field of biosciences and make them excel in their chosen area. In addition, we are guiding the students who are desirous of presenting research papers in seminars and symposia and also to enable them to publish the research works in reputed national and international journals. Classroom teaching is aided by electronic audiovisual aids and is blended with video conferencing and e-learning.
